Turkey is consulting with Azerbaijan on the issue of normalising relations with Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with CNN Turk TV channel, recalling the statements made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his last visit to Azerbaijan.
‘We are consulting with Azerbaijan on these issues. We have received very positive signals from Armenia. We have stated that we are ready for reciprocal steps to positive decisions of Yerevan. Ankara is discussing with Baku what steps can be taken in this direction,’ said Cavusoglu.
‘We stated that we will take reciprocal actions to the positive steps of Armenia, but we are also discussing what steps we can take together with Azerbaijan,’ said Cavusoglu.
