European Council President Charles Michel has affirmed tangible progress at Azerbaijani-Armenian talks made as a result of a trilateral meeting he had with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels on Sunday.
“Tangible progress made,” Michel said on Twitter.
He described the meeting as productive and said they reviewed the entire agenda, including work towards the future peace treaty,
The fourth trilateral in-person meeting with the Azerbaijani president and the Armenian prime minister will take place by August, Michel said.
The Azerbaijani president and the Armenian prime minister met in person for the third time in Brussels on Sunday. The previous meetings took place in December 2021 and in April 2022.
