On 15 June, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a visit to the city of Shusha, liberated from the Armenian occupation, where he will hold talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The Turkish leader said this today in Ankara at a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party, writes Haber Turk.
‘At the end of the program in Brussels, I will go to Baku to visit President Ilham Aliyev. From there we will go to Shusha, one of the liberated cities of Azerbaijan. We will hold a number of events and meetings there,’ he said.
Erdogan stressed that he will go to Shusha with his family: ‘Together with my family, we will visit Shusha, liberated from the occupation.’
The Turkish leader also noted that he will watch the Turkey-Wales football match with President Ilham Aliyev, which will be held in Baku on 16 June.
Earlier, the administration of the Turkish leader said that Erdogan is scheduled to visit Azerbaijan from 14 to 16 June.
